Rene Russo, born in Burbank the state of California on September 2nd, 1970, to Shirley Balocca who was a factory worker/barmaid and Nino Russo. Rene Russo's father worked as a mechanical engineer who left his family when Rene was just 2 years older. Rene, Toni and their mother were cared for by her single mother. Her father was of Italian descent and her mother was of Italian and German-English-Irish ancestry. Rene had scoliosis in her junior high years and required full-torso support.
